Conflict Management & Resolution
A misunderstanding and miscommunication may happen in the workplace and sometimes cause conflict among employees. The question is, what does one do when conflict happens? This new workshop will introduce you to a four step C.A.L.M. model which teaches a thoughtful and effective approach to addressing these types of workplace situations. Participants will learn specifically how conflict develops, how it affects the workplace, and how to resolve most conflicts on their own. As employees learn to utilize the model, it will help them analyze, discuss, and resolve conflicts in a cooperative and respectful manner.
Email Etiquette

This workshop will cover the advantages and disadvantages of personal computer communication. In addition to email etiquette, topics such as instant messaging, facebook and twitter and how they can effectively be used in a work environment will be covered.

Feedback is an essential part of our face-to-face communications at work. Learning how to manage feedback effectively will enhance your interpersonal skills and success on and off the job. In this workshop, you will be able to: explain the different types of feedback, receive feedback confidentially, give feedback respectfully and in a supportive way and solicit feedback for personal and career development.

UNC Charlotte has an official chapter of Toastmaster International, the premier worldwide organization dedicated to public speaking and leadership. Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation.
