1.      General

a.   Listed below are the holidays that will be observed by UNC Charlotte employees during 2004:

NOTE: * The day off for New Year's Day 2005 will be on Friday, December 31, 2004.*

b.   Employees subject to the provisions of the State Personnel Act (SPA) who are required to work on these holidays are entitled to premium pay for such hours worked in addition to equal time off. See Personnel Information Memorandum Number 6, PAY ADMINISTRATION-Holiday Premium Pay.
