The Office of Compliance and Employee Relations has responsibilities for:

  • compliance with federal and state laws
  • grievance resolution
  • training to improve the campus' climate regarding equal employment opportunity
  • managing the sexual harassment prevention program
  • providing comprehensive and timely personnel services with respect to recruitment of EPA staff and faculty
  • planning, managing and supervising of the employee relations program
     

The Office is located in the Department of Human Resources, Room 222B, second floor, King Building.

Sexual Harassment: The University's Policy Statement on Sexual Harassment Prevention is #61. A link will be provided as soon as the PIM is available in WEB format.

Between July 1992 and June 1997, there have been 25 reported allegations of sexual harassment which have resulted in:

  • 17 warnings
  • 2 letters of reprimand
  • 2 disciplinary probations
  • 2 resignations
  • 1 relieved of duties
  • 1 termination
