Compensation and Career Banding
The Compensation Team consults with and advises University managers and supervisors with the following:
- establishing new positions and changes to existing positions
- organizational structure and compensation issues
- evaluation of work assigned to those positions that are Subject to the Personnel Act of North Carolina (SPA)
In addition, we are here to support our managers as they utilize the career banded system to promote employee growth and opportunities. Through our programs, we strive to utilize career banding to the benefit of all our employees and to continue the fostering of a positive work environment.
