Leave Administration / Time and Attendance Reporting - Release Time

Release time is an excused absence from duty, administratively authorized, without loss of pay and without charge to vacation leave. Common examples for which superiors may grant classified (SPA) staff employees release time are:

·       To participate in training and staff development activities

·       To attend meetings of the Staff Organization (elected representatives)

·       To donate blood

·       To attend the SEANC annual convention (elect delegates only - and for maximum of 2 days)

·       To participate in special on-campus activities such as the Health Fair, Staff Appreciation Week, Alcohol Awareness Week, etc
