With the transition to Career Banding different occupational groups at different times, it has become important to utilize the proper form when writing or rewriting a position / job description. Please use this guide as a tool for selecting the appropriate form to complete.

Does the position primarily perform:

Clerical, Secretarial, Processing, Budgeting, Receptionist, Student Services, and/or other Administrative Support duties?

Does the position primarily perform:

Computer / Software Programming, Technical Support, Information Technology, Computing duties?

Visit the Information Technology Career-Banding website, download the 102-CB form at the bottom of the webpage.

Does the position primarily perform:

Data Collection, Data Analysis, Research Support duties?
